The other day when picking up my little one from preschool, my friend Heather spotted an owl up in the tree. Luckily my friend Becky had her camera and took a great snap shot. It was the first time I'd ever seen an owl in real life. They are really cool and a bit creepy. I think this big guy was eyeing my chubby toddler debating if she could be his snack??? He finally got edgy with all the attention and daylight and flew off. A nice encounter with nature on a beautiful Thursday in suburbia.
