I love The Weepies! They are a groovy little indie band. This Christmas I have heard two of their songs on commercials. One on a JC Penny's commercial and the other on an Old Navy commercial.
They aren't on the radio or anything they are just a band that I found and fell in love with. I have this knack for stumbling across musicians before they are big, and then with in a year or so they explode. I did this with Pat Green, Sarah Harmer, David Grey, Jack Johnson, Brandi Carlisle. Just to name a few...ecclectic taste??? So I hope that The Weepies get the success they deserve, and on that same note don't compromise their original sound and sincerity. :)
After looking for this video I see they had a song in the movie "Because I Said So" and on "Scrubs". Fantastic!
