The most adorable Jenny came to my school today boasting about her most adorable salon and made me want to move to Alpine, TX. Yes, Alpine.

It's a top 200 Salon for 2010.

Oh, oh the charm. Her salon seems to combine the whimsical, independent charm of the blogs I love with the focus on high end results and education that I'm after professionally.

I'm just sayin' this hippie chic made me want to "wrassle" a tumbleweed, and head out west...West Texas that is.

It must be an ancient heritage "West Texas" draw. My dad's side of the family is from Ft. Stockton and I still have plenty of family out in Midland. It's madness out there, I tell you, just madness. But at least we could still go swimming (a major concern for me) in Balmorhea.
